About St. Joan of Arc

Also known as "the Maid of Orleans," St. Joan of Arc was born in 1412 in France. During the Hundred Years War between England and France, young Joan, guided by the voice of God led French troops to victory. When Joan was captured by the English, she was burned alive at the stake as a heretic for her beliefs. In 1920, Joan was finally Canonized by the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church and made an official saint and martyr of the church.

Dressing up as St. Joan of Arc

Bring some real, old school "girl power" to your costume this Halloween with a {St. Joan of Arc} costume. With fabric-simulated "chain mail" on the costume's sleeves, hood, and tunic, you'll be ready to be one of history's greatest warriors -- male OR female. Also included in this costume is a cape, capri-style pants (to wear with boots) and a cross-adorned bodice to cinch the costume together.

Accessorize with a Templar sword and shield made of plastic to complete your armor. Add a pair of gauntlets for another unique, battle-ready touch.
