About Saw
If it's Halloween, it must be "Saw." Responsible for bringing back the concept of serial horror with a recognizable, sometimes sympathetic villain to the forefront of the genre, "Saw" has become one of the most successful horror francises in recent years. Revolving around the saga of the Jigsaw Killer - AKA John Kramer -- a mild-mannered toy maker turned vigilante. Jigsaw's motive is to make his victims appreciate the life that they have taken for granted. Already in its fourth installment with a fifth film in production for an October 2008 release, some of the bloody, fan-favorite traps employed by Jigsaw and his "assistants" have been the Venus Head Trap, the Needle Pit, and the Shotgun Collar. Ouch.
Dressing up as Saw
Terrifying, officially licensed masks and costumes are available for the Saw series of films. As cute as he is creepy, is Jigsaw's puppet Billy, complete with a black tuxedo with a jacket, pants, and vest with a red bowtie and a white shirt, the puppet's costume ensemble also features white gloves and a full-coverage mask of the toy's iconic face with rooted "hair." Also available is the Saw Pig Mask, perfect for wearing with an imposing, blood red cloak and fake blood for a disturbing look straight out of the film.
