The creation of cartoonist Charles Addams, Morticia Addams is the macabre matriarch of the Addams Family. Tall, thin, pale and with long black hair, Morticia slinks along the corridors of the Addams Mansion tending to her beloved plants -- some headless roses and Cleopatra, a large, man-eating Venus Flytrap. She's a protective, loving mother to her children Wednesday and Pugsley and the practical, yet romantically insatiable wife to the eccentric Gomez Addams (who just loves it when she speaks French!) Portrayed by Carolyn Jones in "The Addams Family" television series and by the likes of such screen sirens as Angelica Huston and Darryl Hannah on film, Morticia is surely a spooky sex symbol!
