Madonna Loise Ciccone, was born in 1958 in Michigan. Being one of six children, Madonna needed to break out and be noticed. By the age of 21, she was living in New York and performing with her first band. Madonna's music has inspired generations as she is known as the Queen of Pop (move over Britney!) Madonna, although loved by millions, often faces criticism for her sexually charged music videos and other performances. This Material Girl is not afraid to express herself!
Dressing up as Madonna
Madonna's costumes have ranged from a trampy bridal gown bearing the word "Virgin" on the torso to a shiny cone-shaped brassiere. Any eighties type costume would do, but to really portray the pop icon, don;t forget the signature staples of Madonna's look such as lace gloves, trimmed mesh tutu, rubber bracelets and crimped blonde mop with a bow. Break out the eyeliner and give yourself a sexy mole, warm up those vocals, and get ready to Vogue!
