About Love Boat

Saturday nights on ABC from 1977 to 1986, "The Love Boat" cruised through television living rooms taking viewers on a pleasure ride through the adventures of Captain Stubing and his crew. The Aaron Spelling-produced show took place aboard a luxury liner known as the Pacific Princess and was noted for its star-studded guest appearances with many notable celebrities. The show's premise revolved around the romantic escapades of the ship's crew or the crew attempting to reconcile lovers aboard the vessel on a weekly basis.

Dressing up as Love Boat

If you're greeting guests at your own party, you may want to hand out leis of flowers to drape around the necks of partygoers for a festive touch.

And for the man of the hour, the guy with the most important job... dress up as Isaac the Bartender with a red jacket with the official Love Boat logo and name tag with an attached white shirt, a black bowtie and black mustache. Add your own pair of classy, black trousers, a cocktail shaker, a smile and bartenderly wisdom to dispense and you'll be ready to be the life of the party.
