Verona's most beautiful and renowned beauty, Juliet Capulet has been a coveted role for actresses since the 19th century. William Shakespeare's masterpiece is still taught in high school and college classrooms today, and is the timeless love story of star-crossed lovers who took their lives in the name of true love.

Dressing up as Juliet

But soft, what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east and Juliet is the sun. You too can shine with the beauty of the sun in a Renaissance style costume that Shakespeare himself would be proud of. Any color floor-length gown would do, although purple was a color that upper class maidens like Juliet would have worn. Short hair? In true Olivia Hussy fashion, a long wig would complement Juliet well. Or, if you desire the more modern Claire Danes look, a pair of angel wings would be in order. Whatever your preference, no Juliet is complete without her Romeo. Grab your guy and slap him in a pair of tights (you might have to make it up to him at some point though!)
