I Dream of Jeannie was a sitcom in America from 1965 to 1970. The show was released on NBC as a hilarious fantasy in which the astronaut Larry Hagman becomes the genies master. Jeannie played by Barbara Eden falls in love with her master staying with him to perform little wishes to help him out. They eventually marry on the sitcom in the last season. Since its original airing on television it has been replayed on TV Land as it was a very popular show. The character of Jeannie was often depicted as a mischievous woman who often got in the way of what is normal for the astronaut transporting him places and making a comedy out of the entire show.

I Dream of Jeanie was usually only depicted in one costume. While the colors may have changed she was always in the traditional genie costume or Arabian costume. The costume is a two piece deal with the top being very short just covering the chest with dark pink and long sheer sleeves. The pants are just above or below the navel depending on your choice. They the legs trail to sheer material as well. Jeannie often had her hair in a braided ponytail on her head. Occasionally she would wear long or short veils with a little hat. The Genie costumes are usually in adult sizes, but they can be found for little girls. Jasmine is a perfect costume to choose for another Genie look. The Astronaut Larry Hagman costume also offers a pairing when you have a couple.
