When Frankenstein's monster wanted his maker to create him a suitable mate, he requested that she have killer hair. In the 1935 sequel to "Frankenstein," Elsa Lanchester gave a memorable (if not dialogue-heavy) performance as the Bride of Frankenstein. One of the most easily recognizable "monsters" in all of filmdom, the Bride was as distinctive as Frankenstein's monster himself with her vertical tower of black hair with a shock of white running through it, electrified as she rose off the slab.
